Our Story
We’re Nate and Leah, partners in life, in love, and now in this incredible adventure of building our apiary and flower farm. For years, Nate’s world revolved around capturing wedding days through the lens of his camera. As a wedding videographer, he’s had the honor of preserving joy-filled, once in a lifetime moments for couples across the seasons.
Over time, we found ourselves dreaming about what it would be like to create a space of our own to share with others. One where every moment of a wedding could be surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors. We wanted couples to be experience a full wedding day without ever being closed off from nature.
That dream led us here: 59 acres including open fields, a working apiary bursting with seasonal blooms, quietly growing tomorrow’s shade and beauty. Together, we’ve poured our hearts into shaping a venue that’s more than just a location; it’s an experience. One where every view is a photograph waiting to be taken, and where the outdoors is as much a guest as the people you love. From the grassy meadows, to mountains in every photo to the stars sparking as you eat dinner. Every detail is nurtured right here on the land.
Every flower we nurture, and every buzzing bee that comes for it, is part of that vision. We know that the land will keep evolving, just like the marriages that begin here. And we hope that every couple who chooses Solara Ridge will feel that same connection to something real, lasting, and alive.
Whether you’re saying “I do” under the wide sky, dining with a mountain sunset, or dancing under the stars, our mission is simple: to give you a space that feels alive, authentic, and unforgettable. This is a place where nature is part of the celebration not blocked by walls.
